My opinion for the Mac installer problems is that the command line tools
should just be a prerequisite on the Mac along with Xcode (or instead of
Xcode if that is possible and works). (other people's) wait time, bandwidth
and disk space are relatively cheap but your development/testing time is a
very valuable commodity. Also I think many (most?) users upgrading on the
Mac already have those prerequisites installed and some of the new people
coming to Haskell on the Mac will also have it installed.

Of course it would be nice if you could get it to work. Alternatively you
could remove that pre-req on the next version of the platform. Just my two
cents. I really appreciate everybody's work here.
