 I agree that this would be really handy, but please open it as a GHC
 ticket as well, since all the effort would have to go there.

 It's still good that we have a Haddock ticket about it though, since it
 affects our plans. Here's how: Do we want to be able to use the Haddock
 comment AST (HsDoc) in TH or is it enough to be able to insert comments as
 strings? If we want HsDoc then we should not move it out of GHC which is
 suggested in ticket #93.
