[haskell-gnuplot] ghci will not echo my keystrokes after a plot

I don't have the trouble with other external programs, although perhaps
I am not using enough of them to notice.  (Could you suggest another
haskell binding for an external program that I could test?)
I don't have the problem if I use ghc-6.10; it's only with 6.12.
