Volume plugin not working on ubuntu 11.4 ?

Hello,

Trying the Volume plugin with:

|Volume "default" "Master" [] 10


|I get the error message

error: AlsaException.Cons "snd_mixer_selem_get_playback_dB"
"Invalig_argument" (Errno 22)

Has anyone having the same problem ?
