Testing generic unix tarball

An alpha version of the generic unix tarball is here:

   http://www.galois.com/~dons/tmp/haskell-platform-2009.2.0.2.tar.gz

It doesn't yet include profiling libs, nor the editline configure
check we want to add today.

It needs testing on Mac OSX, for this ticket:

  http://trac.haskell.org/haskell-platform/ticket/34

Could Mac users try it and report back?
